On April 26, 2014, Jason Crigler, former patient of Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, presented “Defying the Odds” to a packed audience of brain injury survivors, caretakers, advocates, and clinicians. In "Defying the Odds", Jason and his sister Marjorie explored the various factors in Jason’s successful recovery from brain injury, which few doctors predicted and some call miraculous. Dr. Giacino then spoke about the recent scientific advances in developing diagnostic and prognostic tools for brain injury.
